Custom cut, formed and welded metal parts and assemblies, from one-off brackets to full production runs.
Free, with no obligation. Describe your project, and local fabrication or machine shops will follow up with questions, pricing and lead times.
Custom metal fabrication covers almost anything built from plate, sheet, tube, bar or structural shapes: brackets, frames, guards, enclosures, weldments, tanks, carts and fixtures. Pittsburgh still has a deep bench of job shops, from small welding shops in the Mon Valley to larger plants with laser, press brake, rolling and CNC equipment along the rivers and out toward Butler and Westmoreland counties.
The fastest way to get accurate pricing is to send a drawing or sketch with dimensions, the material and thickness, the quantity, and any finish you need, such as paint, powder coat or galvanizing. If you only have a photo of a broken part or a rough idea, that's fine too. Say so, and a shop can tell you what it needs to quote.
Fabrication pricing depends mostly on material, labor hours, setup and finish. Ordering several pieces at once or allowing a flexible lead time often lowers the price per part.
Not sure this is the right category? Describe the project in the form, and a local shop will tell you what it takes.
