Steel fabrication is the backbone of Pittsburgh's shops. Typical jobs include plate cutting and burning, tube frames, base plates, lintels, embeds, brackets, weldments and repair pieces for mills, plants and contractors.
When you request a quote, list the grade if you know it (A36 plate, A500 tube, A572 and so on), thicknesses, any certs or mill test reports you need, and whether the parts should ship bare, primed, painted or hot-dip galvanized.
For structural work that needs stamped shop drawings or AISC certification, mention it in the description so you're matched with shops set up for that kind of work.
